Parking
On site parking is free but a permit must be obtained on arrival from the tablet system located inside the bar and restaurant area. For stays longer than one night a subsequent permit must be obtained for each day of the stay.
Failure to obtain a permit may result in a fine as the car park is controlled by a 3rd party parking company.
Obtaining a permit is quick and easy. Please watch the video and read the instructions on how to register your vehicle when dining / drinking / staying with us . It takes less than 30 seconds!
1. You can find the parking pads in both the main bar (in the middle of the bar attached to the wall) and on our restaurant bar.
2. Touch the pad to start
3. Pop in your car registration (no spacing needed) and press 'Confirm'
4. Please wait & double check the make and model to make sure you have inputted the correct information.

We are prominently located on Front Street in Shotley Bridge nr Consett.
We are located in the heart of Shotley Bridge (nr Consett) on the A694 and are conveniently located 17 miles from Newcastle, 12 miles to the Metro Centre, Gateshead and 14 miles to Durham. We also sit on the boarder of Northumberland which makes us a great location for anyone wishing to enjoy some sightseeing in the North East!
